The Arab-Turkish Industrial Cooperation Conference is AIDMO’s initiative which aims at providing an opportunity to the industrial sector in Arab countries to expand further the horizons of cooperation and exchange of industrial experiences & views with their Turkish counterparts, and support small and medium enterprises, in addition to encouraging industrial investment between the two sides, especially in the following industrial sectors:
Chemical and petrochemical industries, new and renewable energy, electric and electronic industry, machinery, iron and steel, infrastructure and construction materials, timber, furniture, cars and its feeding industries, food industries, textile, clothing and leather industry.
We will be highly pleased if you could participate in this conference, either by presenting working papers or communicating with your counterparts from Arab and Turkish countries during the bilateral Business meetings (B2B) to be held on the sidelines of the conference.

The Message of Minister of Science, Industry and Technology
In recent years, bilateral relations which began to develop in all areas have shown an impact on bilateral trade relations. Between Turkey and the Arab League countries, the total trade volume that was of 6.6 billion dollars in 2002, reached 33 billion dollars in 2010. In order to reflect this positive developments to the industrial area, the Arab Industrial Development and Mining Organization (AIDMO)’s proposal for arranging an Industrial Coordination Conference in Ministerial Level, also has been accepted with our pleasure. It has been decided that aiming to meet the Ministers of Industry of 22 member countries Turkish - Arab Industrial Coordination Conference will be hosted by our country the dates between 6-7 December 2011 in Istanbul.
I wish to pass this activity efficiently which we believe that it will contribute to the growing cooperation between Turkey and the Arab League countries, be beneficial for our countries and supply the continuity.
