WORK EXPERIENCE
2006-Present: Executive Director of AlSayedah Khadijah Bint Khawilid Businesswomen/lobbying Center, Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Saudi Arabia

Strategically restructured the center from being a businesswomen training center to a lobbying center for businesswomen’s rights
Identified and Lobbied with high government officials the reform of legislations and Royal Decrees that hindered women’s economical empowerment
Was successful in reforming legislations that now allow women to obtain trade licenses in all business sectors with no exceptions, and to become board members in private, IPO, and family companies.
Created public policies and procedures for Jeddah’s Municipality
Conducted research with International NGO’s, and the World Bank on the obstacles facing women’s economic participation
Created the first “AlSayedah Khadijah Bint Khawilid Forum” which addressed women’s challenges from a Religious, Educational, Social, and Economical perspective
 
2004-2007 Corporate Social Responsibility Consultant at the Savola Group, Jeddah Saudi Arabia

Established an employment office in partnership with the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry to recruit, train, employ, and retain people with special needs within both the Savola Group and the private sector
Developed the processes and HR policies for the successful integration of people with special needs in the workforce
Critiqued and redesigned the Group’s Corporate Governance
Managed several projects related to the Groups Corporate Social responsibility
