| Vice President for Regulatory Affairs Saudi Telecom (STC) Dr. Alkussayer is the VP for Regulatory Affairs of Saudi Telecom (STC). As the head of Regulatory affairs, he leads the company’s telecom policy and regulatory management activities including Legal counseling functions. He is also in charge of developing strong and effective relations with the Regulator, ministries and international institutions to promote STC’s business interests. Prior to his current role, he was STC Vice President for Strategic planning where he oversaw the Corporate Planning, International Relations and Quality Management functions. Dr. Hamoud has held various leadership positions including managing fixed and core Network Engineering sector where he lead the massive network improvement when STC started as a commercial company as a successor of ministry of PTT. Dr. Alkussayer has more than 25 years of leadership and professional experience in Telecommunication. He is an active member of many relevant national and international committees and has several publications in Telecom related subjects. Dr. Homoud obtained his BSc and Master Degrees in Telecom Engineering from King Saud University – Kingdom of Saudi Arabia – in 1984 and 1992 respectively and his Ph.D. in Telecom Engineering from Bradford University - UK in 1998. |
